Dani Jacobstein
Clinical Research Coordinator
Dani graduated from Stanford University in 2023, where she earned her BS in Human Biology with a concentration in Genetics, Disease, and Bioethics. While at Stanford, Dani competed on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team, receiving all PAC-12 and all IWLCA academic honors. Between school years, she worked as a research assistant at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Dani previously worked as a clinical research coordinator for the Women’s Biomedical Research Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai before joining the Elahi Lab as a clinical research coordinator in January of 2025. In the Elahi Lab, Dani conducts research visits with VascBrain participants and helps analyze genetic sequencing data, specifically focusing on variants associated with leukodystrophy, leukoencephalopathy, and dementia. Outside of the lab, she enjoys cooking, fashion, and pilates.
